The guy used to have a picture up of that "issue", or whatever it's called, from Tampa and she was in fact in there. I nabbed that picture before the admin edited it out. I'll try and post it here later. Seems to me like there were some ownership rights or exclusivity rights involved with her shedding clothing. Now she's "retired". It's too bad, too. I met her at SEMA last year and she was an absolute sweetheart! She's even nicer than she is good looking.

Yeah, that's kinda old news. I talked to the guy that ran the old Playboy Tryouts site to see if he could post her casting call. He said that, at the time, the photos were too out of date to post on his site, and claimed that he sent Ashley an email to see about doing a new shoot, but had scheduling issues.

There's a recent thread on the Playboy forums talking about it, and we were trying to spark some interest so that maybe they'd contact her again. If you've got access to their forums, go post and show your support.

Thanks pete and edogg. I'm not a member of those forums so I'll have to only hope that another offer is made and that she responds in the positive. Of course, then again, PB has been known notoriuosly for over-airbrushing and completely ruining a perfectly hot girl and making her look plasticy(is that a word?). While they may have great photographers and great sets, their photo editing dept. can leave a lot to be desired sometimes. Then again, Ashley doesn't really have a lot of physical flaws, so the need to airbrush won't be as necessary.

Also, just a point of clarification: Her pictures are out of date? What's that supposed to mean? Doesn't the PB Cyber Club offer the audition pictorials/videos from previous years? Last time I was on there, they had stuff that had to be at least 5 years old, if not more. I do seem to remember somebody from PB saying that she didn't make the "top 10" from Tampa or some BS like that, and that's why she wasn't featured in that final edition that published on the site at the time.

Oh well. Hell at this point I just want to see her start modeling again.....

Well, I PM'ed the guy that ran the Tryouts site and his excuse was that the photos were too dated(they were like a year and a half to two years old at the time). Now as to why she didn't make the top 10 to begin with, I've heard that the photographer or whoever was in charge screwed up her shoot badly and so the photos came out less than spectacular. Still, considering some of the girls that do make the top 10, I don't see how anybody could make Ashley Gellar look less attractive than them.

I don't think there's any chance those photos will ever surface anywhere. Our only hope would be for Playboy to ask her back. But, like you, at this point, I'd be thrilled just to see her modeling again.
