Ashley Gellar (No Nudes)

Ya know, I think that guy should email you and me the awful, horrible pics of Ashley's tryout and let us be the judge. I agree, I don't see how anybody, no matter how bad a photog, can screw up an Ashley shoot. Hell, in that picture advertising the tryout she looks better than most of the girls there. That picture came out fine, use that one.

In all honesty, I truly believe Andy McFarland had some sort of exclusivity rights on Ashley being naked and/or didn't get paid his normal "finder's fee" for girls he sends to PB(he has had a number of girls go from Stare, to WA, to PB). Or, he may have wanted more money for Ashley since she was already so popular. She probably got so frustrated with the whole thing that she just gave up. I'm hoping Ashley is only "retired" from modeling until her contract with McFarland runs out.

It makes sense to me....

I didn't realize she was under contract with Macfaland. That would be great news if it turned out to be true. Any idea how long of a contract a photographer like that usually deals with?

I'm just theorizing, but I wouldn't doubt if he became her manager or if DCProModeling did(they seem to do a LOT of Stare/WA models on OneModelPlace.com), allowing this situation to play out. The manager thing makes more sense now that I think about it because a contract would be binding as where a she could just tell her manager that she's busy, got scheduling conflicts, or just isn't accepting new shoots right now. As far as length of contract, I'd say anywhere from 1-3 years would standard operating procedure.

These are just my best guesses but they all seem pretty plausible.

Any idea who the photographer was for her shoot for Fast and Sexy? I've got a couple guesses.......

I talked to the guy(Sam Bailey) from Fast and Sexy a while back, and he said they had scheduled Ashley for more shoots. He even gave me a date when she was scheduled. When nothing came of it, I asked him again and he said they decided to wait until July so they could shoot her with some domestic cars. That never panned out either. I think he was just stringing me along to keep me a paying member.

I wish she still had her myspace page up. I messaged her after SEMA last year and she remembered me and we chatted back and forth until about Februaury or so(she was so F*ing nice!!). Had I been diligent and stayed on myspace, I might have seen the bulletin she possibly sent out to her friends saying she was quiting and why. Probably would've cleared up this whole thing up long ago......

C'mon Ashley! Get back out there!! Do another StareMag shoot! Hand model! Anything!!!
