The source I got that from was a website used by one of the news broadcasters in Australia which gets updated daily and old links are taken away.
A couple of days after I posted what I saw on that web site, another news broadcaster on television said that the autopsy results hadn't been released yet so who knows if the drug overdoes came from an inside source or another case of miss information.

It's still all rumor and stories, but this did run on the CBS news website.


Until the final autopsy results are release, it is all speculation.

quite frankly i think everyone who is under 50 should be hoping she died because of some sort of drug use. if she died because of a natural reason then that is not only very sad but scary for the rest of us. people shouldn't just drop dead for no reason.

The Los Angeles County coroner says Brittany Murphy died from pneumonia but prescription drug intoxication was also a factor.

The coroner's findings were released on Thursday.

Spokesman Craig Harvey says the primary cause of Murphy's death was pneumonia, with secondary factors of iron-deficiency anaemia and multiple drug intoxication. Harvey says the drugs ingested were all prescription medications.

Harvey declined to say more about what types of drugs were involved. He says those details will be released in about two weeks when a complete report is ready.

Murphy died on December 20 at age 32 after collapsing at her Hollywood Hills home. Her mother and husband have said that the actress didn't abuse prescription medications or have an eating disorder.
Attempts to contact them on Thursday were unsuccessful.
