Alice Pearce, the late Emmy Award winning character actress (born 16 October 1917, in New York, New York, USA; died 3 March 1966, in Hollywood, California, USA) who among her many roles played the nosey busy body neighbor, 'Gladys Kravitz' on the classic TV Series "Bewitched". Alice played the role of 'Mrs. Kravitz' for the first two years of the series (29 episodes, 1964-1966) until her death of ovarian cancer at the age of 48 years. She had said that her portayal of 'Gladys Kravitz' was her favorite role.
