    Connie Schultz

Connie Schultz (born July 21, 1957), of Avon, Ohio, is a nationally syndicated columnist based at The Plain Dealer newspaper. She won the 2005 Pulitzer Prize for commentary, beating Nicholas Kristof of The New York Times and Tommy Tomlinson of The Charlotte Observer. Schultz was also a 2003 Pulitzer Prize finalist in feature writing. Schultz was a contributor to the online political blog The Huffington Post. She was raised in Ashtabula, Ohio and received a journalism degree from Kent State University in 1979. Prior to this, she attended Cleveland-Marshall College of Law, Cleveland State University, for two years. It was during her time in law school that she met her former husband, law professor Stephen Gard.

Here's a find of a couple of local, award-winning Cleveland area newspaper columnists sharing some special moments together after working on their daily editorials. Connie Schultz is wearing the strapon. Regina Brett is her close friend.
