Why can't we post more than one file at a time

Is there a way to post a bunch of file (pictures) at the same time.

This happend to me often, example...I upload 4 pictures then my browser is having problem and I lose everything I was trying to post. Have to start it all over again...............It's pretty long and I hate it.

I would post a lot more if I could upload like 10pics in one operation.

you can post 15 pics in a post using the attachments...............when you reply to a post use the browse button to select the pic you wish to upload and then click "add attachment"....and repeat process.

The attachment can handle pics up to 2.5mb

Ya but that's the problem......You have to do it one by one, upload the first one, then upload the second one, then.........

When my browser crash at the pics #12, I lose everything and don't want to start all over.
Can't we post the 15 pics like in one file?

yeah, gazomg misunderstood the question.

it is a longstanding limitation of this board's (old) software. mike has looked for a multi-file upload mod(ification) for the board but hasn't found one. yet another reason why i pester him to switch the board software over to phpbb3. (the longer he waits, the longer it will take to convert the database to one compatible with phpbb3).

the other option is to load 3 or 4 pics and submit.........then edit the post and add another few.................as for browser reasons why its happening...not sure as most members seem to have no problems
