Just glad I'm not the only one who's getting it, I thought I'd picked up a virus of some sort.

Can anyone confirm the page that Turtle linked pops up for them while browsing the forum?
It looks like Bill and Danarchy are describing what happens when they click on the link, not saying that it shows up by itself for them.

Mine takes over the page altogether. It's really annoying when combined with google-anylitics that slows down Chrome

I just had it take over the page, and I'm on my iPad! And that's using Safari.

    Re: http://ww35.ib.afffffdnxs.com

I never get this as a pop up while browsing the site. I have to click your link to it Turtle. And then I get this below, in variations, depending on what I'm blocking. I rarely use Safari on my Macs, except for testing or if I'm required by some Apple site or tech. Too many security issues and can't control cookies like I can with Firefox. They just keep returning right after deletion and from sites I never visit and/or have blocked. I don't allow Google analytics unless required for some site function (rare). Don't know what you're using when not on iPad, but sounds like you get the same issue on other machines. Sounds like a browser exploit/hijack/spoof or something similar. Malwarebyes has a free adware detection and removal application for Macs now. Only good for OS X 10.7 and newer. I've checked this issue on Snow Leopard 10.6.8 and Yosemite 10. whatever, and don't get any takeover or popups. You may want to completely remove Safari and all it's components and caches, plists, etc. and reinstall it if that's the only browser it's happening on. I say this 'cause I had to do it with Firefox and Opera years ago when they got hijacked on an old Mac. But my issue wasn't related to browsing one site. I just got diverted to a specific site every time I tried to go anywhere on those two browsers, but not Safari back then.
Keep us apprised and good luck.

    Re: http://ww35.ib.afffffdnxs.com

I don't seem to get it on explorer (yet) and Safari isn't a problem as I only check the site with my iPad and rarely do much editing.
The big problem is Chrome. I have got used to it and use it most of the time. I don't know if it's coming from advertising on the site or Chrome has picked up something it shouldn't have.
I have AVG running and run regular SUPER Anti-Spyware every other day.
Reg-edit shows no mention of it when I've run it.
I don't seem to get it on any other sites either?

    Re: http://ww35.ib.afffffdnxs.com

I'll check it on my mother's Windows machine, since I only have Macs. Those two malware products are good. I use Avast free for her real time anti-malware program, but at least once a month, use Malwarebytes and Super Anti-Spyware for things not found with real time. May wait until I do a password fix (Windows auto patch download disallowed his password. Semi common problem on Win 7) on my deceased father's machine since it's the same. I'd hate to mess up her machine, though she knows I used to make fakes on this site before Pa died and I had to move in with her to help her. I don't use Chrome, but she's got it on her machine.
Another thought. It would be great if there was a tech problem section since nobody on any support site I've used ever mentions problems arising from browsing adult sites. You don't use Firefox? Best, in my opinion, for privacy, suspicious site protection and extensions/add ons, so far.

    Re: http://ww35.ib.afffffdnxs.com

Doing a who is lookup, I originally got that the server was residing in Paris, France. Further investigation seems to say that another server is in the Cayman Islands. Further, it seems it's IP is in Pasadena, California. Ru-Tracker.org.
I put in Ru-Tracker.org and after two redirects, ended up on a Pizza Hut site page. Seems, in my limited knowledge, that it's a tracker company. I'd rethink using Chrome, but that's just my opinion due to Google's relentless tracking and fingerprinting, not to mention their super cookies, bugs, beacons, etc.
I'll be back. Have to go get a new circuit breaker, before the house catches fire, first and prep the barn to keep squirrels out so I can finish it and get my stuff from Ma's carport to barn.
You may want to try free Avira and Malwarebytes for your arsenal of malware detectors.
