Floor Jansen (born February 21, 1981 in Goirle) is a Dutch singer.
In 1997, the then 16-year-old Jansen joined the band “After Forever” as a singer.
At the beginning of October 2012, she replaced the symphonic metal band Nightwish's previous singer Anette Olzon during the current Imaginaerum World Tour. On October 9, 2013, "Nightwish" announced that Jansen is now officially a member of the band
Outside of her band career, she has been involved in various other music projects, such as the projects “Ayreon” and “Star One” by Dutch musician and composer Arjen Lucassen. |
