Kaddy's been presenting the weather for South East Today since 2001 and loves the way every day involves a new challenge. 'Forecasting for a relatively small region means your skills are always tested.
Every part of the south east has its own micro climate affected by the sea, the Downs, the soil...and it can be really tricky keeping on top of it all!'. Kaddy's job also involves taking on adventures for the programme, such as wing walking, dry slope skiing or even just presenting the weather whilst on a pedaloe in a lake!'
As well as weather, in 2004 Kaddy branched out by fronting Inside Out, the BBC's regional current affairs show and has been doing it ever since. It adds a huge variety to her job; one minute she'll be in a hydrotherapy pool with injured dogs, the next being rescued by the RNLI, or even digging up archaeological treasure.
Although not originally from the south east Kaddy loves living here. 'It's such a beautiful part of the world, there's so much greenery, and don't even get me started on the great village pubs!' Kaddy moved here after a nomadic childhood which took her from Scotland to Saudi Arabia, and Cyprus to Spain, but is enjoying being back in England.
She moved to Tunbridge Wells after six and a half years studying to become a meteorological forecaster. 'I'd never want to do those exams ever again, but the fact that I can forecast where to go for my weekends to get the best weather is a real Brucie bonus!'
