Your imagination is almost certainly bang-on. The rumor/allegation was that she was at a party on someones yacht at cannes (I have a sneaking suspicion it was elton johns husbands boat, but I'm probably wrong), was macking on some guy, they disappeared for a while and were found fucking in the toilets and were asked to leave.
