Starkiller injured

Well, back on May 20th, I took a fall on a 20 foot extension ladder
that a couple of dumbassed general laborers had set up in a school.
I was supposed to be supervising the removal of some devices that
monitored the AHUs. The general contractor's people were to stupid to
follow basic instructions so, my temperment bein what it is, I told
them to get the fuck out of the way and I'd do it myself. For the
first time in 30 years I climbed a ladder that I didn't personally put
in place. I made it up just above the false ceiling when the thing
started to slide. I came down through the ceiling, ladder spinning as
it cleared the grid, and slammed onto the concrete floor.
So here I am after surgery on my right arm and left wrist. Fortunately
the damage to my hip is non operative.
All total, I have a fractured acetabulum (pelvis), a radial fracture
of my left wrist and a broken humorous in my right arm. I have
regained partial control of my right arm and hand, typing with one
finger at the moment, and will not be able to support any weight on my
left hip until sometime in September. My left wrist is stll splinted
as they performed surgery on it inserting pins and plates last
Tuesday. So I guess I won't be doing any faking for several months.
Talk about a set back.
Anyway folks I just wanted to let the few friends I have here know
that I didn't simply abandon the group as many others have and I will
be back eventually.
In the meantime I will be reading the group as a lurker so ya'll keep
up the good work.

Thanks for the info Ivan...................news to me as I only have a limited version of the newsgroups through usenet which only allows me to view the odd few pics.

Glad that its not too serious ....as it could have been a whole lot worse.....................
