Watson named highest paid actress
Emma Watson is Hollywood's highest earning actress. The Harry Potter star earned £20 million in 2009, according to a report compiled by Vanity Fair magazine.
The 19-year-old British star comes 14th in Vanity Fair's list of the film industry's top 40 earners of 2009.
Watson was paid £10 million apiece for her work on the final Harry Potter series - The Deathly Hallows, part I and II. She is followed on Vanity Fair's list by Cameron Diaz, Sarah Jessica Parker, Katherine Heigl and Reese Witherspoon.
Daniel Radcliffe is the highest paid male actor after earning £25.6 million last year, but the star only ended up in sixth place of Vanity Fair's list of the top 40 earners of the movie industry.
Transformers director Michael Bay is top after earning nearly £80 million. He is followed by Steven Spielberg, Roland Emmerich, James Cameron and Todd Phillips.
