Chelsea Peretti (born February 20, 1978; Oakland, California) is an American comedienne and writer based out of New York City. She is co-creator of the New York City Rejection Line and of web satire Black People Love Us. Both projects received extensive media coverage and were exhibited at the New Museum of Contemporary Art in New York.
Chelsea has written for The Village Voice, Details, Playgirl, Jest, American Theatre Magazine, and a video game, as well as online publications like The Huffington Post. She makes short films with the Variety Shac. She also makes numerous appearances on TruTV's "The Smoking Gun Presents: World's Dumbest...".
