newsgroups

I have added Thunderbird as my email browser. What I need to add as extra is a newsgroup account that is free and does not need a password. Can anyone help out

never quite figured out newsgroups... are they all pay ?

While they do have a members section, the free section of is a great newsgroup. Be sure to check out the Trifecta commentary which is part of my favorite on the site. you may also want to try juno.com front page... it is excerpts from USA Today newspaper... mostly the headlines however but at least is a few things during the day that is read worthy.
