I admit I may not be the most knowledgeable person when it comes to forums, but is anyone else getting irrelevant results from their searches? For example, when I search Mary Elizabeth Winstead I get 5 pages worth of results when all I want is 1 thread (and yes, she does have a thread). I miss the old forum where I would get the thread I wanted instead digging through multiple pages to find it. Am I doing something wrong here? :confused::mad::confused:
You are giving the SEARCH too much information.
I just searched "Winstead" and got two results.
Use the minimum as long as the search request is at least 4 characters long
Apparently the AND function doesn't work like it did before. I don't know if there are any other operators that function with this software -- that would help. You can get better results using the Advanced Search, especially if you specify Titles Only, not Posts.
also remember that one can search by thread title only and not search all posts.
