Miss Moira Shearer

Moira Shearer, Lady Kennedy (17 January 1926 – 31 January 2006), was an internationally famous Scottish ballet dancer and actress.

Martin Scorcese cites 1948's "The Red Shoes" as his favorite film, an achievement in Technicolor cinematography, art direction, and choregraphy. And while she was no Fonteyn, Scottish beauty Moira Shearer was one of the greatest ballerinas of all time.
