Question about the message at the top of the page?

I keep getting a message at the top of the page.It says "Want to support FamousBoard and get access to the hottest & latest celeb photos? Just 1$ gives you access to 10 quality celebrity paysites!" I was just curious because i hadn't seen anything in any of the chats or at the top of the main page.Or if someone hack into the site and is or are trying to scam people? I've seen stuff like this before that's why i am asking.

The message is an advertisement from the site owner.
He pays the entire cost of this forum.
He also runs some other sites that generate the income to pay for this one.
