Jane Marie Lynch (born July 14, 1960) is an American comedian, actress and singer. She is best known for playing the role of Sue Sylvester in the television series Glee. She has also had notable roles in numerous mainstream comedies, such as "Talladega Nights: The Ballad of Ricky Bobby", Best in Show, The 40-Year-Old Virgin and Role Models.
