Martina Ertl (German Skier)

Here's a find of the German skier (born 9 December 1973 in Bad Toelz, Bavaria, Germany). Martina is a veteran of four Winter Olympics and has won medals at the past three (giant slalom silver in 1994, combined silver in 1998 and combined bronze in 2002). She was the combined gold medalist at the 2001 World Championships and is a perennial top-10 finisher on the World Cup circuit. In her 14 World Cup seasons, only three times has she failed to finish in the overall top 10. In addition to her three Olympic medals, she has finished fourth three times. She plans to retire after the 2006 season.
