Joan Van Ark [Born June 16,1943] Is an American actress. Most notable for her role as Valene Ewing in the night-time soap opera Knots Landing (1979-1992). A lifetime member of the Actors Studio, she has received an Theater World Award & had been nominated for a Tony Award for her stage work. Thought it time for Lucy Ewing`s Mom to get some attention. :D
