Board Anniversary

I used to post this when I was a mod before and decided to post it here for those of you that are newer. July 6, 2004 was the day this board became active so today is the 16th anniversary . I spent 20 years working on mainframe computers and well know the transient nature of hardware, software and content. We should all be proud that this great place still exists. Great work, people!

It really is amazing that The Famous Board has weathered the ups and downs and has lasted 16 years and still going strong. I came on board 13 October 2004 and it seems such a short time ago. Over the years I've seen a lot of good sites come and go and it's a real pleasure to see The Famous Board still standing. :partyman:
