Demi Lovato rushed to hospital following 'heroin overdose'



The 25-year-old singer, who has previously spoken out about her battle with substance abuse issues, was reportedly transported from her home in the Hollywood Hills, Los Angeles, yesterday.

According to TMZ, she is currently being treated and her condition is not known.

Demi’s booking agent refused to comment on the story when Express.co.uk contacted them about the story.

The Los Angeles Fire Department told People they “transported a 25-year-old female patient to a local hospital”.

The Los Angeles Police Department confirmed they “responded to a medical emergency at 11.40am”.
