My name's Dave, and I'm a metalhead - simple as that

Been listening to metal for about 25 years or so now, so a little old school when it comes down to it - not much of a fan of most of the modern stuff.

I'm a major Louis L'Amour fan and read most of his books as a kid. He started every book with a statement that read something like "I describe places that are real. If I talk about a stream it exists and the water is good to drink". I just picked up "The Quick and the Dead" with Sam Elliot from the $5 bin at Wal-Mart.
