Yes. I notice my post count drop often. Reasons may be dead links that are deleted, or a comment made apout a post that was deleted, since those will be deleted too...and then the board simply eats posts now and then.
all hail the mighty board then, i guess. periodic sacrifices...
I noticed a thank you to my Denise Richards posts earlier...and now it's gone.....
HUNGRY board.....
Something ate the board completely yesterday.
Things ain't right methinks?![]()

I notice that with a certain frequency, my counter goes down one or two posts: at first I was not sure the I started counting and yes it happens often without notice, so that I don't know which post has disappear or why. At this point in less than oue yar the board must have eaten may be a few dozens...I'm not sure.

The Moderators are constantly reviewing topics and tidying them up, often removing posts such as 'Thanks', 'nice post', 'Cheers' etc.
I often leave these type of posts for a couple of weeks or so allowing time for the original poster to read the responses to their posts.
Then, when reviewing the topic, I will delete them, leaving only valid posts with pictures and download links.
I recall deleting some of your 'thank you' type posts over the last few days whilst tidying up some topics.

The best way to keep your post count is to post pictures, as we rarely delete pictures.
Link only threads are the most likely to go, as they die off.
Older posts are not normally reported to the poster.
If you want your posts to stay, then post pics to the board, preferably more than one.
You be surprised how many of the external linked pictures die off.
Even when the thumbs display, the picture may be dead.
Shareavenue are no longer hosting, so all posts made with this host are being deleted when found.

Good to know, not that I'm specially interested in keeping all the posts, just in knowing what's going on.Originally Posted by Kimble
To thanks the poster or small comments are important as almost the only mean to give a feed back.

seems like the attachments aren't working at the minute
