Board members

I see that we are about 53198 members in the board.
But of this number some 25000 have "0" as number of posts.
This is surprising; Did they never managed to post anything?
Do they have problems to understand/know how to post?
How can they see the pics if they don't post?

Thank you for a good question Markk. We plan to send to all 0-post members particular instruction what they should do to be able to see pics and participate in famousboard.com. We will do it just after we solve all problems with hard disks.

We have detailed instructions in the Support forum, and we PM everyone who makes a bad post.
Some people are simply leeches and will not contribute a single picture in exchange for a million pictures.
We are better off without them.

If we send mails to all 0 posts telling them what they should do to have full access to famousboard and then send mails to all 1 post that they will lost their accounts if they won't post from time to time some 'good' posts, everything will be ok. Am I wrong?

Well in my opinion your are right. Of course people can send sometimes a wrong post. make a mistake or new members may be did not read the rules carefully... but some wrong posts are clearly posted on purpose, just to get access to the board.
Also people that post one just to get access... they are not only leechers, but they are wrong... Sharing is fun!

I agree ........bowl them all out...and make it compulsary that members should post at least once every two months...the net is full of celeb ,model and fake pics....so there is no excuse...this board would be better off with 5000 good members than 50000 with 90% leeches

I highly doubt most the people on 0posts even come here anymore. They probably made an account and forgot about it. It's the people with 1post in the last x months that are still actively signing in you gotta watch for

Mmm... I would not be that strict it is possible that someone is ill or travelling or have problems with the pc and then can not post during a long period, or for whatever reason leaves the board or can not post and then one day wishes or has the possibility to comeback... should he/she sign up as a new member? I don't think so!
This way e could loose a good active member.
So I would say that at least for the Celeb. fanatics or for people with more than let's say 100 or 200 posts the rules should be easier, it's between the people with 1 or 2 or anyway very few mails where we must look for the leeches!
