Yes did!, it's only available some times, but often it's only possible with the last post.Originally Posted by Turtle
Yes definitively it's only the last post that can be edited, Which means that I can't re-edit titles any more, correct old posts, etc.![]()
PM a mod with a link and what corrections need done and we will take care of it.![]()
Same with me, I can only edit my last post, though now that I have reupped a set, I can edit the last two posts (for now).
I'm sure it's Spud's fault.![]()
its been that way for days i can't correct my bad spelling its killing me
Yes, it was added some time ago. Posts can only be edited during first 72 hours after posting. This is a protection against users who for some reason decide to clear all their posts before leaving famousboard. I can increase the hour limit if you'd like.
That makes good sense. Most people only need to edit their own posts when they make the post.Originally Posted by Mike
72 hours is 3 days, (if my maths are right), which should be plenty of time to edit a mistake.
More than that, then they need to ask a mod to make any further changes.

I won't mention any names, but some time ago there was a member with about 1500 posts who got nervous about faking laws and wiped out the pics he had posted. Though he didn't permanently leave the board, he whacked his posted pics. We then had to take the time to delete all of his blank posts. Needless to say it was a bit of a hassle. We've had other members who got pissed for some reason or another, generally because they were reprimanded for breaking the rules, who left the board and wiped the pics they posted before they left.Originally Posted by MARKK
