Shrider was identified as the woman on the Verne Troyer sex tape. Troyer sued the website TMZ.com for posting a clip of the video.
In a court statement, Shrider admitted to providing the website with the tape.
On July 21, 2008, Troyer settled the lawsuit against TMZ, Kevin Blatt, and distributor SugarDVD, requiring Blatt and SugarDVD to get Troyer's approval before selling or distributing the tape or images from it.
