I'm a bit confused here; famousboard is posting ads in models' threads saying "click this referral link to such-and-such.com to help famousboard thrive", yet this site is made up of threads filled to the brim with RS links to zipped sets from these same sites. That's like a torrent site putting referral links to the RIAA on their main page. Who thought this was a good idea? I've seen forums such as these get murdered when porn sites find out about them.

I understand that there are costs associated with running websites, but surely there's a better way to generate revenue than linking to pay sites. How about referral links to filehosts? Linking to RapidShare or MegaUpload would be beneficial to all parties and would probably result in more actual click-throughs.
