    So they are trolls!
    Look at the symptoms;
    - Their degree of self knowledge is spectacularly low.
    - They have no cure; “once a plotician, always a politician”
    - They love rules and laws, but only when they can apply them to other people; never to themselves!
    - They need attention constantly
    - Trolls love unlimited freedom (for themselves)
    - They love to fight
    - They hate responsibility
    - They never admit they did something wrong

    I don't mean that all politicians are trolls but most of them have a tendency to trollism...

    Great analysis Spike. They are attention whores who crave response to their posts. It is the sad part about the wonders that the Web does. Sad people who get enjoyment in causing disruption for no reward other than helping cause chaos. The best answer is always to ignore their rants and don't give them legitimacy

    And to MARKK - Saw an excellent program on Edvard Grieg on our PBS station. Always some of my favorite music and that of my family. We loved the "Peer Gynt" music and also the "Piano Concerto in A". My late mother was a big Tchaikovsky fan and also of Rimsky-Korsakov's "Scheherazade" and Griegs music fits that style closely.

    I was raised on every kind of music there is from classical to blues to country to big band. Sundays my late father picked what LPs were played on the record player. When he died I kept the old 78rpm sets of Beethoven and Tchaikovsky and Rimsky-Korsikov.

    I'm also a long-time fan of Pink Floyd and still have a copy of their first album "Ummagumma". It was always fun when newbies partook of adult beverages and first heard the conclusion to "Watch Out For That Axe, Eugene" which involves blood-curdling screams. Very unsettling music.
