    Bypassing certain user posts

Is there any way to bypass or hide posts by certain users? Right now I'm taking issue with all the animated gifs being posted by metalmike and it'd be aasier if I could just skip over them somehow and still not miss any new content that I'd like to see.

Isn't there an option in tools on explorer where you can turn off animations?
This might work with animated gifs too.

not just internet exploder, i mean explorer, all browsers have that feature. dig around the options and you should find it. in the browser i use, opera, you can have "per site preferences" which is really nice. you can set a bunch of options (or just a few if you want) for specific sites. i could disable animations for this site only if i wanted.

In the upper right hand side of the home page click
View posts since your last visit.
The right hand colum lists the name of the latest poster.
If you don't like that members posts don't click on that line
