Thanking a Poster

I've been around for quite a while now, but it seems like I'm still having some difficulty thanking a poster for his work.
I've received many thanks myself, but am at a loss to know how to do the thanking. I imagine it's a pretty easy process, but I'd appreciate some guidance. I've posted a few replies along the way showing appreciation, but the "thanked by" in that particular thread didn't subsequently list my username. Just looking for a little help. Thanks.

As long as you click on the THANKS button in the top right of the post, it should register as a thanks from you.
If not, I'll get Admin to check to see if there is a fault with the system.
