Hey all, I hope somebody can answer a question for me. I've been a member here for a couple weeks and never had a problem viewing the pics. However, I just installed firefox 1.0.1 and now I can't see them again. If I go back to my other browser (Maxthon), no trouble. But with firefox, I can't see any pics. Of course I'm logged in. Any ideas why?

If you're getting blank white pages, try this - right click and see if there is a checked option at the bottom that says "Block images from dl.celebsdb.com". I've done this twice when doing a right-click-T to open in a new tab and accidentally hitting right-click-G which is the hotkey to block loading.

I've used Firefox almost exclusively here and haven't bothered to find out why the default for "Save Link As" is "download.php". The quick and dirty fix is to type in the filename and extension you want to use and hit return and it will work fine. After 20 years as a sysadmin sometimes if it's not your job you just aren't driven to fix everything and just want to look at naked women.

Problems downloading attachments with Mozilla Firefox

Im not able to download attachments (except images) with Mozilla Firefox. When trying to click attachment link (like video.rar) Firefox opens it on the browser screen as a text and is not trying to save the file normally on to hd. Using Save as-command won't help either. Only way to download is to use IE for it - which I don't like at all.

Is this a common problem or only my own lack of skills? Is there maybe a way to adjust Firefox options so that it would be possible to download?

    this is what I do:
copy the filename, right click and save link as.
Then just paste the filename and it saves it

I have the same problem, especially with .rar files

I just use IE when I need to download them.

The Monk explained it perfectly - done it a thousand times and it's no harder than removing the goofy number IE adds to its downloaded files.

    no thumbnails

Ok, I just upgraded to Firefox 1.0.6. It's a great browser but I'm having the same image viewing problems. The page loads normally, I can see the text, etc. I can see thumbnails that link to Image$hack images. I can see the "Download" links that link to .rar files, etc. But I can't see the thumbnails that link to images on this site. No place holders either. Any idea why?

Right-click on a blank image and be sure "Block images from celebsdb" is not checked. This happens if you accidentally hit Ctl-G. I've done it many times.

No pronlems here but I'm on Firefox. BB will weigh in on this in about five hours since he uses IE. Be sure you don't post right before the 20, 40 and 60 (00) times per Mike's message. Whatever logs these cron scripts are cleaning out, when they run everything else will have a much lower priority and probably fail as Mike says in his notice .
