was never really bothered about the thanks button to be honest............also it was slowing down the board ...so in that sense it had to go.

This new one is ok I guess.......in the end all the main members know who the valuable members are

Tis not to know who the valued members are, but to know which posts are hot (at least to me). If you posted, for lets say, ever since you were a member of the board, and noticed that "every single fake you posted" had zero views since you were here, would it not seem futile?

well, to further elaborate my thoughts, the board existed before without it and it could again.

Some of the best fakes I made are of british babes or trek babes........yet they get hardly any thanks....but do one of courtney cox and it recieves more thanks...as this board is american celeb orientated mostly....however on other boards the brits and trek babes are more appreciated.

Even if I get no thanks I will keep on faking those I like... regardless of thanks.....once I am happy with the fake I could not really give a toss what others think.
and by the same token I only thank those who post fakes of who I like.

It is very helpful. No one likes to review a post only to see someone thanking originl poster. We all appreciate the post, but we all want to see more content.

best way for the board to gain content...is for guys like yourself to post as well.

I'm pretty new here and still unsure as to how this board ticks...

The general sense I have in my head is that if you want to build up your post count, you do this by contributing pictures...and if you want to show your appreciation, you press the thanks button...?

If you rarely post anything, but show your appreciation by pressing the thanks button a lot. Then you still look like a twat..as your post count stays low. I'm no leech..just trying to understand the best way to go about things, here.

I'm more of a fakir..than someone who posts celeb pics, other fakirs works. I'm happy to adjust my behaviour to fit in with the board though.

You can build up your post count with constructive comments or pictures. But generally the "Wow, thanks" type posts get deleted.
