Rapidshare Sucks a Lot!!!

Rapishare was, in the past, the favorite downloader website for excelence. Now, as the style of napster transition, Rapidshare is now available for premium user. If u try to download a file from Rapidshare don't do it, you gotta waste your time trying to download a file from the site who was better than megaupload or anyone else.

Everyone has their own favourite hosting site - the one they have the least problem with.

I personaly like rapidshare as I do have a premium account.

I also like Megaupload and uploaded.to.

Ultimately it's down to the uploader to choose.

whats the crack with rapid share. all i get is

Please note, the server is not going to check again within the next 2 minutes if downloading is possible again. To provide a fair platform, all user get the same options.

it has been this way for waaaaaay over a week. often, i have to wait half a day (literally) to get a download slot. just keep refreshing the page and hope to get a download slot.

yes rapidshare has been a nightmare for free users for the last
3 months or so.... but someone told me that new capacity was coming on line
on the 1st of March...
and they re right...
things have been a lot better since that date Im getting
one or two files per hour once again !

but youre right, there are a ton of file sharers media fire , send space etc
that people can use the more the merrier.

Not used it myself but I've heard good things about it

I use jdownloader its freakin awesome. It waits for you too for all those other hosting websites, ie megaupload. There even is a linkgrabber so you can simply copy the link you need and then it checks if the file is still available and or correct. There is/was a anticaptcha thing too so it skips that, waits the 40 seconds or whatever and then downloads it for. Also if you have a premium account you can use those credentials to get all the benefits you paid for. I love using it for files with multiple links and parts. Really handy open source tool!
