Just thought Id relate what happened to me a week or two ago
as a warning to others.
I wanted to download U Tube vids and found a download.... "Save Tube "
I downloaded it and installed it...
realized it was a kind of add on to fire fox
did nt really want that but I d clicked install so ... let it go.
I found after this that I went onto some forum or other and suddenly found myself
on a stupid google type search page that did nt work and I couldnt get off that page
In other words my firefox was hijacked
I deleted everything I could find with title save tube.... but nothing worked
I had to get help from .... virtual doc.... to solve the problem
Since then Ive found a good U tube.... stand alone.... downloader
....You Tube Downloader HD.... it just sits on my desk top and works great !
