This can't come as a surprise to anyone. You simply cannot abuse your body with substances the way she did and expect to live a long life. I'm sympathetic for her friends and family, but have no pity for Amy.

This doesn't surprise me one bit. It's a pity that she didn't get her personal life together, but having said that, I think that there were a lot of us that suspected that she might end up like this. She was a character that I enjoyed faking a couple of times. Sorry to see her go. Another music star that bites the dust at age 27. She joins the likes of Brian Jones, Jimi Hendrix, Janis Joplin, Jim Morrison and Kurt Cobain and several others less famous.
