    Imagevenue & Malware?

I don't know much about this stuff, but I use Chrome and when I click on certain links such as:

    http://www.famousboard.com/threads/3...y-Cuoco/page20

    or

    http://www.famousboard.com/threads/5...enberger/page7

I get a big red page stating "Danger: Malware Ahead! - Imagevenue - a known malware distributor has been inserted into this page. Visiting this page will infect your computer with Malware."

Anybody else? And is it the same with other browsers?

Yeah! I just had it too. It's probably one of their advertisers trying to add a malware virus or something. Chrome is part of Google and so block any site they view as malicious.
Imagevenue need to kick off the crap adverts before they allow viewing again.
You can click on continue to get to the page and then it's up to you whether you click their links or not.

I use Firefox 27.0.1 and Kaspersky Internet Security 2014 and I get no such warnings with those links. Turtle is right that Google does maintain their own blacklist. There are false positives though and it's not perfect. In this case it may be an overreaction or it could actually be malicious but since nothing on my end detects anything wrong, I'd lean towards false positive.

Good choice. Kaspersky is the gold standard for security software.
