animated gif help needed please

ok, tried asking this in a different thread with no answer so i thought i'd try here

i know there is an easy was to make animated gifs

it was either a windows program or in adobe photoshop/imageready

i know this because i had made about 15 a while back...please help meh

Now that's embarrassing when the Big Kahuna (old California term for the best surfer - this from a boy from the desert of West Texas but we did get car magazines out here) has to provide help for a non-board issue! I never messed with animated gifs so I was no help. Thanks Mike!

hopefully gif will die a thorough death now that animated png is coming around. the firefox trunk (3.0 alpha) has apng support. (the file extension is still png). i don't think there are any programs that support apng writing yet tho..

oh, just an update in case anyone is interested (and i hope ppl are), but there is a PNG writing firefox extension now. i believe its still in alpha but it does work & info is available (& the download) here.
