A planned rematch between Brock Lesnar and Frank Mir for UFC 98 on May 23 that would have unified Lesnar’s UFC heavyweight title and Mir’s interim UFC heavyweight has been canceled.

Multiple sources have confirmed to FiveOuncesOfPain.com that the UFC was recently informed by Mir’s camp that he has been unable to train recently due to a back injury that could require surgery.

There is no word as to whether Lesnar will remain on the card against a new opponent or if he will be taken off the card entirely.
    UPDATE:
According to a report at Fiveouncesofpain.com, UFC interim heavyweight champion Frank Mir has been forced to withdraw from his UFC 98 main event bout with UFC heavyweight champ Brock Lesnar.

The report originally referred to a back injury, but now cites a knee injury that required surgery as the culprit for the change.

Digital Spy is reporting that "Stone Cold" Steve Austin has been added to the cast of action thriller Stranger. The film is reportedly a cross between The Fugitive and The Bourne Identity.

The project will be directed by Rob Lieberman and is expected to begin shooting in May.

This is Austin's latest project with Nasser Entertainment Group and Caliber Media Co., who he recently finished working with on a fight film called Damage. He was added to the cast of Sylvester Stallone's Expendables last month.

WWE Announces The Retirement Tour Of The Undertaker

It was announced at last night's WWE Raw house show in Dublin, Ireland the company will be back in November and it will be The Undertaker's retirement tour. As previously noted, the tour is called Undertaker's Rest In Peace Tour and will feature the SmackDown and ECW brands.

There have been rumors for months that Undertaker was nearing the end of his run in WWE and he was said to be in especially rough shape over WrestleMania weekend. As we noted on WNW Premium, Undertaker spent a good amount of time over the weekend icing his knees which continue to bother him.

It is likely Undertaker will continue to work until WrestleMania next year before calling it a career.

Thanks to Wrestling News World blogger Chris Jacks and reader Conner for their help with this story.

More On The Undertaker's Rest In Peace Tour, WWE Superstars Theme

    source: PWInsider.com.

-- As reported earlier, WWE will be running one of their European tours in November under the handle "Undertaker's Rest In Peace Tour." According to those in WWE, this is simply a marketing strategy by using his catchphrase as a selling point and not an indication that he's retiring.

So with WWE going PG; TNA has reportedly signed a deal with Playboy so I'm just wondering who will they pick?

I know SoCal Val was offered it previously.

Christy Hemme has been there, done that.

Tara has said in the past she would have done it if she'd been offered when she was in WWE.

So with my personal favourite Traci Brooks unlikely, what are the chances of the Beautiful People making a Playboy appearance? Or do the majority of you want to see one of the other Knockouts?

according to the latest rumours...chris jericho's partner is Kane..........would seem plausible as he appears to be doing nothing much else in the WWE at the moment

Could this be because Freddie Prinze Jr. is now writing the fight scripts?
