    ***Draft Update***

Sandman, Spanky & London, Daivari, William Regal, Jillian Hall head to RAW

Johnny Nitro, Viscera, The Miz head to ECW

Eugene, Victoria, Hardcore Holly, Kenny Dykstra, Major Brothers head to Smackdown!

As this point I assume ECW just gave up and went home...

Sandman to RAW and Victoria to smackdown! makes no sense.

In other news, Kurt Angle won the TNA World Title last night, the Dudleyz retained against the "Steiners Of Doom" and Black Machismo won the X-Division Title...Ohhhh YEAH!

I didn't see that, but I was able to see TUF finals. It was a really action packed show.

I was so impressed by BJ Penn on the TUF 5 Finale. Is there any smoother grappler, pound for pound, than BJ? The guy moves around like a spider monkey and I damn near shouted the roof off when he made Pulver tap.

World Wrestling Entertainment is deeply saddened to report that today Chris Benoit and his family were found dead in their home. There are no further details at this time, other than the Benoit family residence is currently being investigated by local authorities.

Tonight’s Raw on USA Network will serve as a tribute to Chris Benoit and his family. WWE extends its sincerest thoughts and prayers to the Benoit family’s relatives and loved ones in this time of tragedy.
As posted on WWE.com and the Wrestling Observer.

As much as it'd piss me off for them to do something this sick, please God let this be some kind of angle. Benoit, Woman and their son Daniel?!

FAYETTEVILLE, Ga. (AP) -- WWE wrestler Chris Benoit, his wife, and son were found dead Monday and police said they were investigating the deaths as a murder-suicide.

Detective Bo Turner told television station WAGA that the case was being treated as a murder-suicide, but said that couldn't be confirmed until evidence was examined by a crime lab.

The station said that investigators believe the 40-year-old Benoit killed his wife, Nancy, and 7-year-old son, Daniel, over the weekend, then himself on Monday. A neighbor called police, and the bodies were found in three rooms.

Lead investigator Lt. Tommy Pope, of the Fayette County Sheriff's Department, told The Associated Press the deaths were being investigated as homicide, and that the causes of death awaited autopsy results on Tuesday. Pope said the bodies were discovered about 2:30 p.m., but refused to release details.

The house is in a secluded neighborhood set back about 60 yards off a gravel road, surrounded by stacked stone wall and a double-iron gate. On Monday night, the house was dark except for a few outside lights. There was a police car in front, along with two uniformed officers.

Benoit was a former world heavyweight and Intercontinental champion. He also held several tag-team titles during his career.

"WWE extends its sincerest thoughts and prayers to the Benoit family's relatives and loved ones in this time of tragedy," the federation said in a statement on its Web site.

Benoit was scheduled to perform at the "Vengeance" pay-per-view event Sunday night in Houston, but was replaced at the last minute because of what announcer Jim Ross called "personal reasons."

i don't claim to know him personally, but i've been watching wrestling for nearly 20 years and it seems so unlike chris benoit. which leads me to my first hunch, i wonder if he was on some sort of mental/emotional drug (maybe in combination with a painkiller?) cuz those "anti-psychotic" drugs have often proven to be worse than what they are treating...

I can't believe this! Benoit was a consumate professional, a family man.

His friend Biff Wellington passed away last week, add that to Eddie last year...I don't know. Grief makes us do strange things...

Until the facts come out, I'm not judging. R.I.P Chris Benoit, Nancy (aka Woman) and Daniel.

well the facts have come in since early this afternoon, but authorities are still waiting for tests done by the crime lab and toxocology. according to the what has been released nancy was believed to have been killed sometime on friday. she was bound by the feet and wrists and was wearing a towel. she had blood coming from her head that suggested there was struggle involved. she was murdered by asphyxiation. they found 7 year old daniel in his bed where he had also been asphyxiated. a bible was also found near him. chris benoit was found hung in the gym. there was no suicide note found in the home. even though steroids were found in the home authorities at the time were saying they didn't believe they had something to do with it. they're still awaiting the toxocology report.

also vince mcmahon went on ecw tonight before the show to apologize in his own way for the tribute. all chris benoit merchandise, videos and his own profile has been taken off the wwe website. toys r us and other toy stores have been removing all action figures of chris benoit as well. even the condelences from TNA wrestling have been taken off of their websites. seems they're trying to remove themselves away from benoit aren't they?

also if any of you have heard of the mysterious text messages that benoit sent out well they've just been released and here they are.

the message sent to chavo guerrero was : the sliding glass doors are open and the dogs have been fed.
no one knew what in the world that meant and chavo couldn't get a hold of benoit afterwards.

text message 1 to coworkers - my physical address is 130 green meadow lane, fayetteville georgia. 30215

text message 2 - the dogs are in the enclosed swimming pool area. garage side door is open.

text messages 3,4, and 5 were the same - my physical address is 130 green meadow lane, fayetteville georgia. 30215

also the raw event that was planned on monday has been moved to next month. so for ticket holders out there they will still have their chance to see the wwe live.

as i said before, i just don't think he was in his right mind, as evidenced in the following article, others suspect this as well:

Kevin Sullivan Speaks On Benoit, Nowinski Questions Trauma
Written by Ryan Gray on Jun 27, 2007 - 10:52:09 AM

The New York Times published a lengthy article today on the Benoit Family Tragedy and included quotes from former WWE superstar Chris Nowinski as well as Nancy Benoit’s ex-husband, former WCW star/booker Kevin Sullivan. Sullivan expressed his utter shock and praised Chris as a performer.

In the article, it was also noted that Nowinski is trying to persuade the coroner to allow a brain exam to look for neurofibrillary tangles in the brain’s cortex. This has been refused in the past; however Nowinski has previously been able to link the suicide of NFL defensive back Andre Waters to concussion induced depression based on forensic work done on Waters' brain matter. “Part of me hopes there was something wrong with his brain,” Nowinski told the Times. “The Chris Benoit I knew was always more concerned about everybody else’s well-being than his own.”
