    this is what happened after raw went off the air. after cena and his dad, who was being carried out on a stretcher, went backstage along with JR and the king, randy orton went back out into the ring and started going on about cena and what he did to his dad. at this point triple h comes out and has an amazing 10 minute match with orton. triple h wins and he ends the show officially by posing for at least 5 minutes. the match was described as great by the fans who were there. being as this was dark match its obvious that orton's next major fued will be with triple h.

    god i can't believe how much the shit is hitting the fan with this steroid & hormone scandal. couldn't have come at a worse time. (cuz of the congressional investigation of course). i couldn't believe how many main eventers that were on that list, not cuz i think they're above it, but cuz of the suspensions! imagine what it'll be like if they (forced to?) suspend those main eventers!

    here ya go.

    The following comes from the NY Daily News:

    Breaking News
    Top WWE names emerge in doping scandal

    BY T.J. QUINN

    DAILY NEWS SPORTS WRITER

    Thursday, August 30th 2007, 4:27 PM

    The WWE was rocked again today, after several of wrestling's top names emerged in the Albany district attorney's probe into a widespread Internet doping scandal.

    The wrestling conglomerate based in Stamford announced that it will suspend 10 of its biggest stars for violation of its wellness policy.

    Top wrestlers Randy Orton, Charles Haas, Jr., Adam "Edge" Copeland, Robert "Booker T" Huffman, Shane Helms, Mike Bucci, Anthony Carelli, John "Johnny Nitro" Hennigan, Darren "William Regal" Matthews, Ken "Mr. Kennedy" Anderson and Chavo Guerrero were all identified as clients of Signature Pharmacy in Orlando, the site raided by Albany County and Florida law enforcement agencies in February for distributing steroids and other prescription drugs to clients who had not been examined by doctors. The investigation is part of a probe into illegal Internet drug distribution by Albany D.A. David Soares.

    The WWE said in a statement that it issued suspension notices based on independent information received from the Albany D.A.

    The WWE's announcement comes as members of Congress prepare to investigate steroid use in professional wrestling, as the Daily News reported today.

    Two of its recently deceased stars - Chris Benoit and Eddie Guerrero - also received steroids and other drugs from Signature, as prescribed by Florida physician Gary Brandwein, who has pleaded not guilty to criminal sale of a controlled substance and criminal diversion of prescription drugs. Benoit murdered his wife and son before killing himself in June and Guerrero died in a Minneapolis hotel in 2005 from heart disease.

    Guerrero received the steroids testosterone and nandrolone, along with the estrogen-blocker anastozole, a drug commonly taken by men on steroids to prevent developing breast tissue, Nov. 2, 2005, just 11 days before he died of heart disease.

    Guerrero's nephew, Chavo Guerrero, found Guerrero unconscious in the hotel room.

    Benoit received steroids from Signature, based on a Brandwein prescription, in February, 2006.

    The WWE stars are among the first athletes to face discipline for their part in the nationwide Signature Pharmacy scandal, the Internet steroid ring that has already led to guilty pleas from nine doctors, anti-aging clinic owners and operators. Law enforcement sources have said they expect the names of numerous NFL and Major League Baseball athletes to emerge as well.

    and an update on that list......funaki and batista have also been added to the list.

    with all these guys gone, even though some haven't been on tv for some time and others have only been involved in training at ovw, i can't even imagine what the wwe is going to do now. the mr. kennedy is vince's child storyline will either be dropped or changed. batista, well who cares, but he was one of the guys the wwe had that would bring in the money. why wasn't cena on that list? why? randy orton, well there goes triple h's fued with him. that is until he comes back after suspension. johnny nitro/john morrison is the ecw champion. with him gone now what? will the title be vacated and some kind of match be held to see who's the new champ. cm punk better get it. and just when people were glad to see regal back as GM of raw, he's gone. well he really wasn't doing much was he? and at least we won't have to deal with seeing booker acting like a fool anymore, at least until he comes back.

    and an update as of now....umaga is also said to be on the list.

    John Morrison?! Oh shit! I was actually starting to get into that gimmick...

    When did they know about this? This past week Batista has been dropped out of the title picture with Rey vs Khali which can also excuse Chavo Jnr's disappearance, Punk is set up against Big Daddy V since his WWECW title shot against Morrison is for the "future", not the next PPV. Edge and Shane Helms are out injured anyway. Nova is off tv, Masters and Funaki are unimportant. Even Booker can be written off now his angle with Lawler/Trips is over. It's only really RAW to suffer with Cena losing Randy, Umage the IC champ and Kennedy being the obvious (too obvious?) illiegitmate son.

    well here's some more news from sports illustrated.

    There has been a lot of news come out since yesterday. In all there was 20 WWE Superstars that were listed as being clients of the busted Signature Pharmacy in Orlando. 15 out of the 20 are currently under WWE contract, 3 are deceased (Brian Adams, Chris Benoit, Eddie Guerrero), one was recently released (Sylvain Grenier), and another one of the names was about to be signed this week (Johnny Stamboli).

    Names Revealed By Sports Illustrated:
    Most-Likely The Ones Suspended

    * Charlie Haas - Purchased drugs as late as January 2007.

    * Chavo Guerrero - Purchased drugs as late as May 2006.

    * Edge - Purchased drugs as late as February 2007.

    * Funaki - Purchased Somatropin in March 2006.

    * Gregory Helms - Purchased drugs as late as February 2007.

    * John Morrison - Purchased five different drugs as late as February 2007 .

    * Mr. Kennedy - Purchased three drugs between October 2006 and February 2007, including testosterone, which is an anabolic steroid. Kennedy sternly claimed in a recent interview entitled 'WWE Stopped My Steroid Use' that he completely stopped doing steroids as soon as the WWE Wellness Policy was implemented.

    * Randy Orton - Purchased drugs as late as February 2007.

    * Umaga - Purchased Somatropin as late as December 2006.

    * William Regal - Purchased drugs as late as November 2006.

    Listed As Clients Of Signature Pharmacy But Not On Sports Illustrated's List:

    * Batista
    * Chris Masters
    * King Booker
    * Santino Marella
    * Simon Dean

    No Longer Under WWE Contract Or Deceased:

    * Brian Adams
    * Chris Benoit
    * Eddie Guerrero
    * Johnny Stamboli
    * Sylvain Grenier

    it doesn't seem that any of this is effecting their current tapings. smackdown/ecw will be taped this weekend sept. 1st and batista and several of the other superstars listed are still working.

    regarding your first post...
    it sounds like you're assuming they're going to suspend ALL those guys at the same time, i highly doubt they will do that. it would ruin all kinds of things on the tv side of things...
    and you mentioned "why randy orton".... well, i'm not sure if thats referring to the past or present, but we already know in the recent past he was suspended for a violation of the wellness policy...

    Speaking of Randy, won't this be his third suspension? Two for violating the Wellness Policy and one for just generally being a dick? What do you have to do to get fired up in CartoonLand?!

    the 3 strikes & you're out rule only applies to the wellness policy. so yes you're right that he has been suspended 3 times, but only once so far for a wellness policy violation, and of course twice IF he gets suspended this time around. so no he cannot get fired for that.

    no kidding about getting fired tho... they protect the main eventers more than the mid-carders or expendables tho.

    Mike Bucci, although he had incredible heat on him from his regular job in talent relations and was on the bubble before his name surfaced.
    WWE has come to terms on the release of WWE Smackdown talent Eugene as of September 1. We wish Eugene the best in all future endeavors.
    Oh my God! Nova AND Eugene?! The entire mainevent roster of WWE has changed forever because of the Drug busts!!!

    *The preceeding comment was heavily laced with sarcasm*

    heh.

    apparently, it was a little worse than i thought, as far as them suspending a bunch of guys (particularally the main eventers) at the same time.
    and not that i care, but john morrison dropped the ecw title to cm punk.

    WWE has come to terms on the release of Raw Superstars Cryme Tyme (Shad Gaspard and Jayson Paul) as of September 2. We wish them both the best in all future endeavors.
    If anyone has a thought about what's going on up there, lend it to Vince!
