    Update on John Cena's Injury

    Source: F4Wonline.com

As previously reported, John Cena underwent surgery last Wednesday to repair his torn pec. They didn't know the severity of the injury until they went inside and once inside they discovered the tendon had torn all the way off of the bone. The reason they operated immediately as opposed to try and have Cena work No Mercy was partly because six days would have caused the tendon to start shriveling up and operating immediately made the surgery go easier and gave Cena a better chance of coming out of it 100%. As previously noted, Cena is expected to miss WrestleMania next year.

    TWO HUGE NEWS ITEMS

Steve Gerweck of Gerweck.net is reporting that WWE has released developmental talent Teddy Hart. Hart, a member of the famous Hart family, had been working in both WWE’s Ohio Valley Wrestling and Florida Championship Wrestling developmental territories. He was scheduled to be brought up to the main WWE roster sometime next month with the New Hart Foundation.

While we do not have immediate details on his release nor an official confirmation from WWE, the behavior of Teddy Hart has been a problem in the past. All reports had indicated that things were going well for Hart and that he was slated to be called up. We will post more details as soon as they become available.

The following is a major breaking story from WrestlingObserver.com:

The Fight Network has just reported that Randy Couture has quit the UFC, vacating his heavyweight title and leaving his job as a color commentator.

Couture, who works for The Fight Network itself, so there is no way they are going to miss on this story, wrote a letter from South Africa where he's filming the Scorpion King movie, to Dana White.

Not getting a match with Fedor Emelianenko played a part in his decision. The decision was made when it became clear the match with Fedor wasn't happening.

It is known Couture was one of the top UFC fighters who was unhappy when reading about the huge money guaranteed in the company's offers to Emelianenko, because he felt he and a few others were the fighters who helped build the current popularity and they weren't getting guaranteed income for fights anywhere near that level, particularly since they were bigger drawing cards.

it is now. they bought out pride this summer. they've even brought over some of the pride fighters by re-negotiating their contracts & whatnot. or buying them out.

I heard a little rumour about that....wonder if this will see Brock Lesnar eventually competing in the mix.I cant see him going to TNA for another bit yet......reckon he is checking out how TNA fares with its new 2 hour slot and the revenue it will generate ....so they can pay him big bucks.

    Randy Couture situation update

The following is an excerpt from an article on TheFightNetwork.com:

UFC president Dana White tagged Couture’s decision a “retirement,” citing the 44-year-old’s departure from the sport in 2006 before returning in March 2007 to reclaim the heavyweight title from lumbering 6-foot-8, 265-pound Tim Sylvia. “It’s not a retirement,” said Couture Friday, who also works as on-air analyst and ambassador for The Fight Network. “It’s a resignation from the UFC organization.”

well he is a relatively big star in that part of the sports world but regardless, he will have to earn a title shot, just like 99% of the others.

Expect to see Booker T debut in TNA at the November 11th PPV, Genesis, as Sting's mystery tag team partner.

The only hint so far is that the partner will be "a man who has been World Champion in every federation he has competed in." Some (dumb) fans are suggesting this will be the return of Jeff Jarrett but unless I fell asleep and missed it, Double J was never WWF Champion. RVD (WWE/ECW Champ) or Big Show (WWF/WWE/WCW/ECW Champ) are outside bets.

yeah i heard about that. also it's being said that the mystery person who handed that thing to LAX on TNA is Shelly Martinez. i'm hoping this is true. the person who came out was small and seemed to be a woman hidden under that clothing.
What doesn't kill you. Simply makes you STRANGER!
