yeah, i was surprised. they should have never ever rewarded him after his first suspension under the new wellness policy by letting him keep his on air GM role. (it is actually his third violation, but only his second under the new wellness policy).

i was also very pissed a while back when wwe decided to put the strap on randy orton after his second wellness policy violation! go figure!

how the fuck are ppl supposed to take the wellness policy seriously when they keep rewarding ppl like this?! what is this, politics?

Keep that in mind when you're watching Jeff Hardy.

That is a good point. On his first match back, he went over on Umaga. Strange policy really.

    - Beat Umaga, clean first night back.
    - Beat MVP clean on PPV. Took Matt months to do that.

Expect Jeff to be wearing gold pretty soon and I think he'll beat Umaga (jobber to the stars) at ONS. That'll teach him not to do drugs. Gossip says he's come back from his latest ban "refocused and more dedicated". Funny, they said that when they rehired him a couple of years ago. After firing him. For drugs.

you're right, i hadn't thought about it quite that way. but i have one correction to make, his suspension this time was due to alcoholism, not drugs. (i know alcohol is practically another drug, but i just thought i'd clarify).

Tito Ortiz confirms he is done with UFC

    Quote Originally Posted by MMAweekly.com
During an appearance on MMAWeekly Radio Wednesday night, Ortiz says he is “100%” that he will not return to the UFC.

“Me going to somewhere else is 100% happening,” said Ortiz.

Ortiz alluded to his frustration with the president of the UFC, Dana White, as the major factor in the decision, but he admitted he left with a heavy heart when saying goodbye to the fans after his fight last Saturday night.

“Later on after the fight was over, I was sitting down going over the loss, I think that’s when it really touched me that that’s going to be my last time walking out for the UFC,” Ortiz stated. “It’s really hard to say, but the president, the way he treats me, I can’t continue on with them. He’s a monster and I’m going to go elsewhere where they respect me.”

“I’m very thankful for the fans, every one of the fans, I even talked to after and so forth, we’re like ‘we’re going to follow you no matter what Tito, no matter where you go. We’re going to follow you.’ It’s just the fact of getting the greatest fights ahead of me from this point on and continue my career, turn the next chapter in my life.”

It seemed for a moment following the fight between Ortiz and Machida that possibly fences could be mended between the fighter and the promotion, but the “Huntington Beach Bad Boy” says his mind is made up.

“No, I’m not going back to the UFC, I don’t want to,” commented the former champion. “I can sleep now and not worry about what’s going to be said about me. I don’t have to worry about what I have to say to make sure I say the right thing. I’m sick of kissing ass and I’m not doing it anymore.”

    Re: One Night Stand PPV

World Title TLC Match If the Undertaker loses, he is banished from the WWE
Edge vs. The Undertaker : Deadman wins and gets his latest run with the title and Edge moves back down the card. If Edge does win, expect Taker to switch to RAW.

WWE Title Last Man Standing Match
    Triple H © vs. Randy Orton : Triple H.

    First Blood Match
John Cena vs. JBL : JBL has been on the losing end so far (and back in their feud on Smackdown) so I'm expecting JBL to pick up a win here.

    Stretcher Match
Shawn Michaels vs. Batista : Batista. Gets a PPV victory over HBK and doesn't have to pin him to do it. I'm also expecting an appearance by Y2J in this match.

    Falls Count Anywhere Match
Jeff Hardy vs. Umaga : It's about time the "Samoan Bulldozer" won a match on PPV but Jeff is the golden boy at the moment. I see a big swanton of the staging/balcony to pin Umaga in the crowd. Then again Jeff is back from his 2nd suspension so he'll probably win a total squash in about 2 minutes.

Singapore Cane Match Winner becomes the #1 Contender for the ECW Title
Big Show vs. John Morrison vs. Tommy Dreamer vs. Chavo Guerrero vs. CM Punk : I'm actualy excited about this match (if not the result). Love Dreamer to pick up the win and get one last shot at Kane for the gold, he wouldn't even have to win, just let the old school "Innovator of Violence" fight Kane in a competitive match. Morrison is an outside bet but he seems to be settled in his tag team role at the moment, Chavo's title reign was a joke and his feud with Punk was just plain dull. CM Punk is probably still in the doghouse so I'm expecting Kane vs Big Show for the title in their 546th match.

    "I Quit" Match
Beth Phoenix vs. Melina : Beth losing wouldn't do much for her "monster of the womens division" gimmick so I expect Melina to say those two little words after a valient effort to cement her as a babyface. Wonder if it'll be as good as Trish vs Victoria in the Hardcore Match at SS a few years ago...

I am more of a K-1 fan, but when Fedor Emelianenko fights i always catch it. He is currently the best MMA fighter in the world both in my opinion and by fight record.

    WWE One Night Stand thoughts:

I got 5 out of 7 for my predictions, God forbid Cena lose a match...EVER!

Kinda shocked (but very pleased) for Edge to win the World Title again. Taker is "banished from the entire WWE", at least until Vicki gets fired and he's reinstated or there's some kind of loophole that allows him to be drafted to RAW.

As for the rest, HHH continues to injure Randy Orton on PPV (remember the botched DDT/concussion at the Royal Rumble a few years ago?); we'll have to endure another Kane/Big Show match (I'm calling a double throttle leading to a chokeslam at some point in the match) and Jericho is set up for his heel turn. Loved his "inspirational coaching" of HBK (I figure it was his way of getting Shawn Michaels ass kicked just a little more). Oh, and Jeff Hardy wins by jumping off of something.

I got more wrong than right there, and yeah Randy Orton's injury does look nasty. Apparently as soon as he lands he looks up at the ref and says. "I've broken my fucking collarbone" Ouch.

pretty much everyone in the wwe already knew where they were going to way before the draft show. except for one person, good ol' JR. Jim Ross was not told or informed about his move at all and he was really angry about the situation. jerry the king lawler was also angry at the situation. many felt that jr deserved to have been told that the wwe did not give him much respect for not doing so. jr has posted his feeling about his move to SD on his blog. going so far as saying he would quit but he's since decided to man up and try it out.

also later on today at noon, the supplementary draft will occur. more superstars are going to be traded. it'll happen at the wwe website. this draft if for mid carders and divas.

on this friday's smackdown which was taped tuesday, triple h pretty much makes himself known there especially against edge. and JR settles into his role as commentator there. rey mysterio says his farewell to SD fans and batista does the same but not before saying goodbye to edge.

the "incident" with vince is obviously vince's way to end the million dollar giveaway and to start off a new storyline for ratings. last year's "who killed vince mcmahon" storyline ended when benoit killed himself and his family. this time around it seems like someone wanted to kill vince. but who. the two most likely candidates are the undertaker and william regal. regal would be the obvious choice.
What doesn't kill you. Simply makes you STRANGER!
