i think the chances of BL returning to the wwe are about as much as bret hart returning to the wwe. (stranger things have happened though).

    @ gaz
are you aware of the major lawsuit he had against the wwe?

Strange but ok. Punk & Kofi vs Evolution 2.0 is fine with me. I'm more concerned with HHH burying MVP, Shelton and THE Brian Kendrick.
i wouldn't worry about Shelton benjamin or the brian kendrick. MVP is the one that is in trouble. he has a lot of heat with those behind the wwe. mvp made a rude remark to one of the guys who do the drug testing for the wellness policy. it got back to the big guys and a meeting was had with the wrestlers. since then creative have it out against mvp. they're even saying that mvp just doesn't cut it as a heel and doesn't know how to be one. shelton who at one point had heat with creative is now being praised cuz he knows how to be heel. so now shelton is having a push. it's the reason why shelton went over on mvp recently and why mvp is being thrown to HHH. it's not just happening on tv but at the house shows. there'll be a house show in the next several weeks in town for the smackdown/ecw brands and there's a HHH vs mvp match. undertaker will also be at the show which is cool.

it also seems that the undertaker/HHH fued that was planned has been held back for a much later date. HHH and taker were going to start an angle that would probably lead them to a big match at wrestlemania. but this seems to be have been pulled. the whole thing now is that HHH will be having a fued with jeff hardy and the undertaker against the big show. in the upcoming SD show jeff hardy won a fatal 4 way match which got him the title shot at HHH at NO Mercy. the reason for the change in plans is cuz of the big move to MY NETWORK TV. why, i'm not really sure.

the brian kendrick is heavily liked within the wwe and he's being pushed heavily but i doubt that he'll get buried by HHH if they want to make him look good.

and on punk, i was reading that the wwe wanted to give the title to someone else. someone that could push raw in getting more ratings. in order to not make punk look bad or weak losing in the match they decided to just have him get beaten by EVO2 and then say he was too hurt to participate. so they brought in jericho. why? cuz his whole storyline with michaels is the only good thing happening on raw. and you know why it's the only good thing on raw? because wwe creative has nothing to do with it. it's all being booked by both Y2J and HBK. they're the ones coming up with all the stuff that we've been seeing.
What doesn't kill you. Simply makes you STRANGER!

interesting... not surprising though since veterans often don't have to follow a script, they ad lib within the lines of what creative wants to get across.
it isn't the greatest angle, but i think you're right d69, the y2j-hbk feud is prolly the best thing going on raw right now.

i was referring to the lesnar case. it basically burned any bridges he had left with the wwe. i don't think he has a snowball's chance in hell of coming back to the wwe even if he wanted to. but like i said, i could be wrong since stranger things have happened.

I dont know about that......I believe the WWe would have him back in a shot........reckon the lawsuit was only because they were pissed off........its not like the macho man who is too old .so they can bury and deny.......lesnar is a card drawer....and what with ratings the way they are.

Eric Bischoff. Hulk Hogan. Ultimate Warrior. Kevin Nash & Scott Hall. All fucked Vince over in one way or another, all got welcomed back with open arms. If Vince can make money with a Brock Lesnar return, he'll do it.

i said it wasn't out the realm of possibility. i said that i don't think it will happen. besides my point was proven on the utlimate warrior dvd, watch what vince had to say about it.

Wasn't sniping at you, just making a point.

As for the Warrior, I saw the dvd. He fucked Vince over three times (held him up for more money, drug use and no showing events), he still got brought back after the first two because...Vince though he could make money!

    From LOP on tuesday

-- "Macho Man" Randy Savage, who wrestled on nine out of the first ten WrestleManias and came away with the WWF Championship on two of them, will not be a character available to play on the upcoming "Legends of Wrestlemania" video game, which is scheduled for release next March. At Vince McMahon's discretion, a few big names were excluded from the game for one reason or another, most notably Randy Savage and Mick Foley. Sources say THQ officials were most unhappy about not being able to feature Savage and Foley in the game. At least in Foley's case, he was originally scheduled to appear in the game, but following his departure from WWE a few weeks ago, McMahon made the decision to pull his character.

    WWE signs Naofumi Yamamoto

Since November 12th, 2007, Naofumi Yamamoto has been away from New Japan on a learning excursion overseas. He's spent much of his time in FCW in Florida, a WWE "farm" base. Yamamoto returned to New Japan offices today to announce that he was leaving New Japan Pro-Wrestling to formally joined Vince McMahon's WWE. Yamamoto said he had actually left in February after not having a new contract, then passed an official WWE tryout in April. Yamamoto was thinking of returning, but then saw Nakamura defeat Kurt Angle in February, and knew he wouldn't be able to return until he reached Nakamura's level anyway. Yamamoto said he would start from the bottom in WWE, he knew, but his target was to fight on a Wrestlemania show. Yamamoto says he has no regrets in Japan, and hopes to make WWE his final home, as it is the biggest promotion in the world. Yamamoto spoke about Goto's G1 Climax victory and smiled bitterly as he recalled his first G1 in 2006, where he lost every match. His style in the United States is going to to be fundementally the same - black shorts, black shin guards, and a kick-based offense.

President Sugabayashi wished Yamamoto luck in America and told him he will always be welcome back in New Japan if he decides to return to Japanese wrestling. As one of the gifted class of 2002 - featuring Nakamura, Goto, and Taguchi - he has finally made it somewhere after a sluggish spell, and looks to conquer the peak of American professional wrestling. Yamamoto said that he would prove the strength and ability of New Japan Pro-Wrestling to the world, and apologized to fans because he would not be returning to New Japan, but asked for their support in this new phase of his career.

anybody believe he will do well enough to rise above midcarder..?unfortunately I don't

Rashad Will Fight Forrest But Maybe Not At UFC 92

Sources indicate to Bloody Elbow that the UFC is considering moving that fight to another show. There is some internal concern that with Brock Lesnar vs. Randy Couture headlining in Vegas in November, and GSP vs. BJ Penn headlining in Vegas in January, Vegas fans may skip the December show if it doesn't have a huge name on it.

There is still an outside possibility that Chuck Liddell could fight in December. He is an established draw in Vegas, and he does not plan to retire after his last loss. There are numerous potential opponents he could fight in December as well, including the returning Mauricio "Shogun" Rua. He was originally scheduled to fight on that show as well, but it's unclear whether he would be ready to fight again after such a bad knockout.
