I basically use Gimp ... its free... wonder, is there anything better out there ?

i try gimp turned away from gimp terrible customer service help i as peoplpe from gimp how do i change my icons from gimp to windows they where disrespctful, i have tried paint.net , ( Krita (Free) , Raw Therapee (Free) ) i have not try krita and raw therapee this was years ago i dont work play these prgrams no more people say gimp and paint.net are good
